SWAT Team Leader (48 Hours)

Duties and responsibilities, leadership, mission planning and execution, policy and procedure issues, tactics, equipment and weapon procedures, team operations, mission execution Standard Operation Procedures, team training protocols and mission briefing procedures.

Advanced SWAT Team Leader (48 Hours)

Practical application training involving the inventory of missions assigned to SWAT Teams. Team Leaders will be involved in planning, briefing and execution of missions during scenario based conditions using course participants as the tactical units on scene. Course will also address the evaluation process for core competency skills certification of team members.

Tactical/SWAT Commander (40 Hours)

Command protocol and field operations procedures for officers responsible for commanding patrol and tactical units to resolve high-risk incidents. Addresses selection of appropriate courses of action and the employment of on scene resources to execute specific actions to resolve high-risk incidents using reasonable and necessary force options.
